When I am called to duty, God
whenever flames may rage,
give me the strength to save some life

or some older person

Around 9:30 Friday morning the new Engine 511 was delivered to the station. As of right now the truck is not in service but will be in the next few weeks.

Today we bid farewell to the the old 511. It is on its way to its new home at a fire department in Georgia. this is the final step in receiving the new 511 which is due to be delivered any day now.

The Chiefs are on a short vacation to Marion Body Works in Wisconsin this week to perform the final inspection of the new Engine 511 before the station takes delivery. Chief Field sent some pictures to give everyone a preview before the new rig arrives in the next few weeks.
