Station 51 provided mutual aid to Gastonia Fire Department Thursday August 7. The call was for an abandoned mill on Congress St. on fire. First arriving crews reported heavy fire visible and a second alarm was struck.
Sunday, April 13th, 2008
At 2149 hours Sta. 51 was dispatched to an MVA involving a Gaston County Police Officer. Units arrived on scene to find a female pt. in a passenger car entrapped. Ladder 51's crew extricated victim in short order and she was transported to Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte.

At 1151 Sta. 51 was dispatched to Verde View Dr off Forbes Rd. for someone burning leaves. 5101 arrived on scene and found an active wildland fire of about 1 acre threatening a vehicle and a structure.
